Vi-3000

Virtual Vi offline set up Set up your shows offline and load them into the Vi3000 via USB
VM2 radio mic status monitoring Monitor the status of HiQnet-compatible AKG radio mics directly from the console surface with realtime visual displays of battery life, RF status, mic muting and internal clipping.
Copy/Paste channel bus and FX settings Dedicated Copy and Paste buttons on the surface allow the settings of any channel, bus or FX section to be copied and pasted, dramatically cutting down the set up time.
Copy/Paste processing elements Operators can drill down to copy and paste even single processing elements, and the last paste operation can always be quickly reversed with an UNDO function.
Settings Library Along with a useful library of EQ and Dynamics settings, operators can store their own settings in the console or to a USB memory stick, making initial set up and transition between shows even easier.
Sophisticated Cue List Management Allows changes to be applied to multiple cues and recall scope to be set per snapshot.
Advanced events integration Cues can trigger or be triggered by MIDI or GPIO events, including MIDI timecode. Harman's HiQnet Venue recall function is tightly integrated within the Cue List.
Automated microphone mixing Post fade inserts provide an extra access point for inserts on every channel for use with external auto mic mixing systems.
Snapshot crossfades Snapshot recalls can use crossfades to transition smoothly from one setting to the next.
ViSi Remote iPad® app Control major functions and optimise your mix from anywhere in the venue. Adjust monitor levels from the stage.
All busses to stereo All busses can be turned to stereo without tying up two busses, providing a massive 24 stereo mix capability – perfect for mixing large monitor applications.
4 Aux send points  With a total of 4 aux send points, monitor mix engineers have the flexibility to tailor mixes more closely to performers' requirements. Sends can be pre-EQ, precompressor, pre-fade or post-fade on a per channel/per bus basis.
Aux VCA mode VCA master faders can control the aux sends of their member channels on a per mix basis, with a FaderGlow illuminating in white to indicate the VCA's operation on the current mix. Monitor engineers can retain control of important global elements such as ambient mics while also having a monitor mix selected and adjusting groups of sources within the current mix using the Aux-VCAs. Blue illumination of FaderGlow indicates that the VCA is controlling the global channel level to all mixes.
Auto-increase of ambient mic levels in monitor mixes between songs Performers using in-ear monitors want to hear the audience between songs. No problem. Vi3000 has the facility to externally control the Gate or Ducking processing from a bus in the console, so all you have to do is insert a ducker on an ambient mic with an external source of the LR bus or a spare bus, and the audience level increases automatically when the performers stop playing.

                                                                                            Vi1

With the Soundcraft Vi Series now firmly established as a firm favourite digital desk on both the touring, broadcast and installed sound scenes, Soundcraft have taken this amazing platform to another, more affordable level with the release of the new Vi1 console.
Many users have asked for a smaller, lower-priced desk that still has the acclaimed VistonicsTM user interface, and of course the now-legendary optimal sound quality established with the Vi Series.
So here it is, the Soundcraft Vi1™.
A complete standalone console package with 32 channels of analogue input to 27 analogue outputs, plus 6 digital inputs, 4 Stereo FX Returns and 6 digital outputs in one chassis. As standard, Input to mix capacity is 46chs, but by adding a stagebox (compatible with the existing Vi racks), simultaneous channel count increases to 64. Channels are routable to 24 multifunction busses, plus LR and Mono Mix busses.
Up to 8 of the busses can be configured as Matrix mixes, each with up to 16 sources.
The surface is just over a metre wide, and includes 16 motorised channel faders with fixed and user-definable layers, 8 output/VCA faders and 2 master faders.
What's really cool about the Vi1 though, is the new Widescreen Vistonics interface, which will be instantly familiar to anyone who's driven a Vi6 or Vi4, as well as retaining the same 'walk-up' user-friendliness of the other Vi consoles. This new development displays all parameters for 16 channels side by side, on a single 22" Vistonics touch screen. The upper half of the screen handles the Output section control as well as Cue List or Menu displays. Parameter control is via two rows of 16 rotary encoders. Exactly the same channel functionality as the Vi6 and Vi4 is available here, along with all the same core snapshot, talkback and monitoring facilities.
Naturally, the Vi1 inherits many of the facilities of its larger siblings, including Soundcraft FaderGlow™, 4 stereo Lexicon effects engines, BSS Audio graphic EQs on all output busses, and integral dynamics on all channels.
The desk is also compatible with Vi2, 4 and 6 show files.
As you’d expect, the price of the Vi1 is extremely attractive, which is sure to make it a clear winner with engineers and sound companies.

                                                                                            Vi2

Soundcraft now offers a Vi Series control surface for applications where space is very tight. The new Soundcraft Vi2 inherits all the basic functionality of its larger brothers the Vi4 and Vi6, but measures just 850mm in width, around half the size of a Vi6.
The Soundcraft Vi2 is equipped with one channel section of 8 input faders, and the master section which holds 12 faders. The Vi2 can handle as many inputs as a Vi4 or Vi6 (96 channels) using the standard stagebox and local rack hardware, with access to 8 inputs at a time on the channel bay. By simply touching the input meters on the Vistonics™ screen of the master section, control of those inputs is brought onto the channel faders, along with all the channel functionality such as EQ, auxes, groups etc.
In addition to the meter selection, three fully customisable layouts of the 8 input faders are available via the user-defined fader page feature.
The Soundcraft Vi2 will therefore appeal to anyone who wants to use a Vi console but has more limited space than usual in which to operate. For example, it could be easily brought in at stage side for monitors alongside an existing console at festivals, or in corporate events where input access is less demanding than a multi-piece live band. The Vi2 is also suitable for use as a space-efficient spare console, and as an easily transportable training or programming unit. The Vi2's Show files are fully compatible with Vi4 and Vi6 consoles, and also with the Virtual Vi Offline Editing software.
All the usual processing is accessible via the Local Rack, and even the 30-band graphic EQ's are available, by using a paging system, accessed via the 8 output section faders.
The Soundcraft Vi2 provides a cost effective and useful accessory for existing Vi4 and Vi6 owners, who can use a Vi2 surface with their existing racks, which helps maximise rental inventory usage so that Vi console systems can be used on both large and small scale productions.
